Halloween

Well, it's Halloween time again. Sometimes the whole "scare everyone so bad they have a heart attack" thing gets kinda old. I vow to never try to scare little kids to death! I'm glad my family isn't into that sort of stuff. In fact, My little sister is going to be an angel! How cute is that?? My brother is going to be a mad scientist, and I'm going to be kind of a disco person. Not really though. I don't know exactly what era it's from, but oh well. Doesn't matter, Halloween isn't on my "favorites" list. I mean, getting candy is great and all ( don't get me wrong, I love candy, and have nothing against it!), but it's just sad how "All Saint's Eve" (a celebration of saints) became something that's the opposite! But seriously, the stuff that during the rest of the year we try to avoid, becomes ok in this one season? (That is kind of strange, don't you think?) We should be preparing for Thanksgiving instead!! Even though I like candy better than turkey and spinach, Thanksgiving overall is on my "favorites" list! Anyway, I'm either going to a thing at my church, or a Holy ghost party.
Have fun on All Saint's Eve!!

Hey Danielle!
I totally agree with you, you made an excellent point about the change of seasons. I also thought you were funny in your expressions, like you said, "scare everyone so bad they have a heart attack"! I thought that quite funny, but it's true, it almost seems as though they want to do that.
See ya, keep writing! I have a new post.

It's my same blog but I just deleted everything else. :-) So it's only Nanowrimo!

The holiday is HARVESTINE. It is a time where we celebrate the fall harvest season by carving pumpkins and dressing up in fun, appropriate costumes!!!

(I wish everyone thought about it that way!)

OK I re-figured out how to add an author to your blog. I'm not sure if that is what you were talking about - if it's a "friend" or not on a blog - but you go to Settings > Permissions and you can add an author. Hope that helps. :-)

Hey, Amy you actually helped me too! Thanks!
I tried getting to your blog, but it says I'm not invited. Help?

It was on some sort of permission that only allowed my blog authors - anyway I fixed it so anyone can look at it! Try it now and see if it works. :-) Sorry about that!

Hi, Danielle,
Thanks for your comment! You can plan out your novel this week, if you would like, by completing the worksheets or writing an outline. But technically, you can't start writing until Thursday, November 1. You can start at 12:01 am on Thursday (that would be basically Wednesday night), or you can wait to start writing until the party on Thursday night.

I'm glad to hear that you're having lots of ideas this week! I've been thinking more about my novel, too. It's funny how your subconscious can work on ideas for you, so that you suddenly have an idea surface while you're just walking along, looking at cracks in the sidewalk. Or, maybe it's the Holy Spirit inspiring you! :)

Hey Danielle,
in fact we got fresh pumkins from Apple Hill and my mom's going to bake the seeds, she's saving the rest for pie!
They're yummy!
